The metering software which is provided as part of the Water School allows water meter readings to be securely stored remotely from the school. Schools use their unique PIN to access this data.

The stored data will be used solely to build up a unique individual picture of water use in a specific school and will not be passed to any third party, including the Water Company which supplies the school, without that school's permission. Schools will also be asked whether they agree to their names being passed onto their water company for the sole purpose of receiving support in their efforts to use water wisely in the school.
